Mr. Charles Barr is the CEO of LVRG Funding, a leading small business loan company supporting small and medium-sized businesses with cash flow and working capital financing. After years in the entrepreneurial and business financing space, Mr. Barr decided to build his own company from the ground up, creating the name and business model while hiring and training employees to nurture and expand the venture. Through good old fashioned hard work and persistence, LVRG has organically grown into one of the strongest and most reputable “boutique” small business finance companies in America. Mr. Barr has managed LVRG for nearly 15 years, during which time it has funded over 10,000 small businesses across a range of industries, deploying hundreds of millions of dollars of capital.
Mr. Barr prides himself on his ethics, integrity, and morality in an industry that can be advantageous towards people and companies as his primary passion is assisting businesses with growth and success. To do so, he manages a small in-house function with an expansive back-end operation, enabling LVRG to conduct all the activities a mega-lender might, but with white-glove customer service and a personal touch. Mr. Barr is dedicated to providing the right kind of funding to help businesses expand and prosper and has been helping others fulfill their dreams at LVRG since 2012.
Prior to LVRG, Mr. Barr had been involved in multiple entrepreneurial ventures. Mr. Barr has also worked for several established companies in a business development capacity, including a mergers & acquisitions firm, litigation finance company, and other specialty finance organizations. In those roles, he had continued success in driving sales growth due to his interpersonal communication and relationship building abilities.
Mr. Barr has a passion for health and fitness rooted in the sports activities he participated in as a youth. He even played professional squash for three years, climbing the ranks to top 100 in the world, during which time he traveled the globe and experienced many different cultures. Since then, he’s spent most of his time in South Florida and the Metro Detroit area, and has been involved in volunteer organizations such as The American Cancer Society, United Way, and The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
