Walk For Wishes 2024

Support children with critical illnesses by participating in the 2024 Walk For Wishes, a nationwide fundraiser by Make-A-Wish. This family-friendly event is a great way to connect with wish families, volunteers, companies, donors, and friends, all committed to making life-changing wishes come true. The upcoming walk, proudly presented by Planet Fitness, will take place in Royal Oak, MI on May 4, 2024. On September 10th 2023, our company was a proud sponsor of the Out of The Darkness Community Walk in Shelby Township, Mi, to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP.org). Together, we can bring these issues Out of the Darkness and create a culture that's smart about mental health. These events give people the courage to open up about their own connections to the cause, and a platform to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention. Friends, family members, neighbors and coworkers walk side-by-side, supporting each other and in memory of those we’ve lost. The event had over 1,000 people who walked the 5K path, and more than $75,000 was raised; which will go to help continue research for suicide prevention, development and presenting of educational programming, advocacy work, and support for loss survivors.
